This policy explains how Outv ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit this store and buy from us. The controller is the company indicated in our Legal Notice. Our store runs on Shopify.

Data we collect

• Details you give us: name, email, phone and billing address entered at checkout; the account that will receive the username and, for the swap, a contact; your order notes; the messages you send us.
• Order and checkout records: the products and add-ons you buy, the confirmations you tick in the cart with their exact text and time, your typed electronic signature and the version of our legal texts.
• Technical data: IP address and approximate location, device and browser information (such as time zone, languages, screen size, platform), the page you came from, time spent on the cart and simple interaction counts (key presses, pastes) on the cart page, timestamps, and the delivery status of the emails we send you.
• Payment data: processed by Shopify Payments. We receive the payment result and limited details (such as card brand and last digits, address and security check results); we never see or store full card numbers.

Why we use it

• To process orders, perform transfers, provide support and any add-on you bought, and answer your messages.
• To prevent fraud and protect cardholders, including checking that an order is placed by the holder of the payment method.
• To prove that an order was placed, confirmed and delivered, including to defend payment disputes and chargebacks.
• To measure visits and the performance of our ads.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal data.

Legal basis

We process data to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations and, for security, fraud prevention and the defence of payment disputes, on the basis of our legitimate interests and of the consent you give in the cart. Where the law requires consent for cookies or similar technologies, we ask for it through the cookie banner.

Sharing

• Shopify, which hosts the store and processes payments through Shopify Payments.
• Service providers that help us run Outv, such as email delivery and hosting providers, under agreements that protect your data.
• Google, through the Google Ads tag used to measure our ads.
• Shopify Payments, the payment processor and your card issuer when a payment is disputed.
• Authorities, when required by law.

Cookies

Shopify sets the cookies needed for the cart, checkout, security and your cookie choices. We count visits with our own statistics (page, language and referring site) and use the Google Ads tag to measure our ads. You can manage your choices through the cookie banner and block cookies in your browser settings; the cart and checkout need essential cookies to work.

Retention

We keep order records, cart confirmations and the related technical data for as long as a payment can be disputed and as required by tax and accounting law (in general at least 24 months after the order), and other data only as long as needed for the purposes above.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country. Where required, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
